The 2025 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Deepsea continues the legacy of one of Rolex’s most advanced dive watches, engineered for professional divers, adventurers, and those who require uncompromising performance in the most extreme underwater conditions. With an updated design that integrates the latest technological advancements, the 2025 model builds on the Deepsea’s reputation for durability, water resistance, and precision while maintaining its iconic look and feel.

Key Features

Case Material:

Oystersteel: The 44mm case is crafted from Rolex’s proprietary Oystersteel, a highly corrosion-resistant steel that retains its gleam even in harsh underwater environments. This material is known for its strength and exceptional resistance to rust, ensuring longevity and reliability for years to come.

RLX Titanium (Deepsea Challenge): The 50mm case of the Deepsea Challenge utilizes RLX titanium, a material renowned for its lightweight nature and incredible strength. This advanced material allows the watch to withstand extreme pressure without the added weight of traditional metals, making it ideal for deep-sea exploration.

Dial:

Black/Blue Dial: The matte black or blue dial provides exceptional legibility, even in the darkest depths. Its design is simple yet functional, with large hour markers and hands filled with Chromalight, Rolex’s proprietary luminescent material that emits a blue glow for easy reading in low-light conditions.

Deepsea Challenge Dial: The Deepsea Challenge model is characterized by a highly legible design, with oversized markers and an eye-catching contrast between the dial and hands, making it perfect for extreme conditions where clarity is essential.

Bezel:

Unidirectional Rotatable Bezel: Both models feature a unidirectional rotatable bezel, essential for tracking dive times. This functional bezel is designed to prevent accidental rotation, ensuring it remains secure during dives.

Depth Markings: The bezel is engraved with clear, high-contrast markers that are easy to read, even under water.

Movement:

Caliber 3235 (Deepsea) and Caliber 3230 (Deepsea Challenge): The 2025 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Deepsea is powered by the Caliber 3235 (Deepsea) and Caliber 3230 (Deepsea Challenge), both self-winding mechanical movements developed by Rolex. These movements offer improved accuracy and enhanced energy efficiency, ensuring a consistent and reliable performance throughout the most challenging conditions.

Power Reserve: Both movements offer a 70-hour power reserve, ensuring that the watch continues to function for multiple days without the need for winding.

Chronergy Escapement: With the Chronergy escapement, both models achieve improved energy efficiency, increasing the overall reliability and accuracy of the watch while contributing to better shock resistance.

Bracelet:

Oystersteel Bracelet: The Deepsea comes fitted with the Oystersteel bracelet, crafted for comfort and strength. Its design combines brushed and polished surfaces to achieve a rugged yet elegant appearance.

Titanium Bracelet (Deepsea Challenge): The Deepsea Challenge bracelet uses RLX titanium, which combines strength and lightweight comfort. Both models feature the Oysterlock clasp, preventing accidental opening during demanding activities.

Glidelock Extension System: The Oysterlock clasp features Rolex’s Glidelock extension system, which allows the wearer to adjust the bracelet length by up to 20mm without the need for tools. This is especially useful in varying temperatures or during physical activities that may cause wrist swelling.

Water Resistance:

3,900 Meters (12,800 feet): The Deepsea is waterproof to a depth of 3,900 meters, making it one of the most robust dive watches in the world. This incredible depth rating ensures that the watch can withstand extreme underwater conditions.

11,000 Meters (36,090 feet) (Deepsea Challenge): The Deepsea Challenge takes it even further with a staggering 11,000-meter water resistance rating, specifically engineered to survive the most extreme depths known to modern divers.
